Project Guidelines
By continuing with these prompts, and making a deposit herein after this form completion based on services noted — an agreement (the “AGREEMENT”) is made between you (the “CLIENT”) and VanityGeeks.com (the “CONTRACTOR”).
Completion Dates
The CONTRACTOR will provide a due date for any projects soon after completion and finalization of service purchases. Some projects may not have a set due date, such as SEO projects.
Refunds
Completed, paid-off projects are not eligible for refunds due to all services becoming completed and validated upon project payoff.
Non-refundable deposit
Under no circumstance is any deposit non-refundable, unless there is default or a completely obvious underperformance and/or a failure to provide services stated above by the CONTRACTOR. The definition of underperformance, failure to provide services, and overall default is defined in the Due Diligence section below.
Recurring Billing Notice
If CLIENT has recurring monthly billing with CONTRACTOR and wants to end the services pertaining to it, CLIENT must give a 30 day notice to avoid charges on the following billing cycle. There are zero exceptions. There are no long term binding contracts with any VanityGeeks.com products or services other than this.
Design Project Revisions
The CLIENT is granted up to 2 revisions on Design projects and cannot exceed this number, unless CONTRACTOR has not fully completed & satisfied all services & instructions provided from the CLIENT.
Due diligence
The CLIENT and CONTRACTOR are responsible to fully follow instructions via various communications. Communication includes the following and not limited to: email communications, requests for Google Drive uploads, requests to complete 1 or more Google Doc files, and project revision instructions. Failure to communicate/reply after 7 days has passed since last communication will result in default by either responsible party. Due diligence by CONTRACTOR is fulfilled by completing the services as stated on this AGREEMENT and nothing more.
7 day initial due diligence & withholding of deposit
After deposit, CONTRACTOR will email CLIENT requesting files in a shared Google Drive folder to be uploaded, and 1 or more Google Docs to be edited. These requests must be fully satisfied in order for the project to begin. If the CLIENT does not complete these requests within 7 days of initial email with instructions, the CLIENT hereby forfeits the entire deposit to the CONTRACTOR and any responsibilities to execute the original services based on this AGREEMENT is released.
Extension of completion date
CONTRACTOR is granted a total of 2 extensions totaling a timeframe of up to 2 weeks past original completion date. CLIENT understands and accepts that extensions are sometimes necessary due to unforeseen circumstances in coding conflictions, past design work, etc. Failure by CONTRACTOR to notify CLIENT of needed extensions 3 days past completion date or new completion date at 11:59PM PST more than two times will result in default by CONTRACTOR.
Severability
Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, all other provisions will nevertheless continue to be valid and enforceable with the invalid or unenforceable parts severed from the remainder of this Agreement.
